Hello division 20,
Happy Christmas holidays! I have been thinking of you all.  I hope the concert yesterday was great.
Just to let your all know the baby still hasn’t come.  I wonder when she will make her appearance? Any guesses? But I will post so you will all know.
Have a wonderful break and have lots of fun too!
I will come for a visit in the New Year.
Take care everyone and Merry Christmas from my family to yours!

See you,
Mme Rode

I would like to wish you happy holidays and happy New Year.

Please refer to the following reminder:

Thank you!

Hello Division 20,

A huge thank you to all of you for the lovely cards and the wonderful book that was created for my family.  I had a good time reading all the pages.

I will miss being at Anderson seeing and working with your children.  I will post pictures of the new baby once she makes her appearance.  I will come in for a visit in the New Year and will post it on the blog the day that I will be coming in.

I hope you all have a wonderful holiday season and I look forward to seeing you all in the New Year.

Merci et au revoir!!!!

O.W.L fieldtrip

Hello Division 20,

We had a great day today at O.W.L.  Yes, it was very, very cold but we learned so much and we got to see so many different owls and other birds of prey.

Here is a short video of some of the owls we saw today.  We saw Sarah, the resident owl eat a mouse.  It was crazy watching her gulp it down in 3 gobbles.

Later, back in the classroom we investigated an owl pellet.  The students will get a chance to investigate their own on Tuesday.

This Saturday, O.W.L. will be having pictures with Santa and of course an owl at their facility.  It cost 10$ to have your picture taken with Santa and the owl.  I might even check it out myself because it looks like a lot of fun.  The event runs from 10-3, with all proceeds going to O.W.L. (which is a non-profit organization to help rehabilitate birds of prey).

O.W.L fieldtrip.

A big thank you to all the parents who were able to come and volunteer today.

See  you,

Mme Rode

O.W.L field trip

Hello Division 20,

Tomorrow we will be going to O.W.L.  Please remember that it is an indoor and outdoor field trip.  Please make sure your child is well dressed for this activity. Also, please send small snacks to eat that can fit into your child’s pocket.  We will be leaving Anderson at 9:30 and arriving back at 12ish.

Looking forward to a fun day,

Mme Rode
